Johnson Lake

Johnson Lake is my all time favourite place to SUP. I first found out about this place described as the Caribbean of BC and it did not disappoint. I've visited this lake 3 times and it's getting busier and busier. I had a really hard time deciding if I should give away my favourite place but the internet already did.

Getting there from Vancouver is a solid drive and detail can easily be found online. It's definitely worth going for at least the weekend. There's a rec site at the East side of the lake that does fill up and is first come first come first serve. The rangers do an excellent job keeping the campground clean.

Please respect this gem and pack everything out!!
